The finals opened with a traditional Dragon Dance. There was also a Kung Fu and a special Tai Chi Demo, along with the China Open Weapons and Forms finals. Breaking competition was added this year and the finals of the power concrete breaking were held on stage. Extreme Tricking was a big hit with Micah Karns beating Cody Simmons, Mo Alafrangy defeated Joshua Kahan and in the team comp Matt Emig/Austin Crain beat Jacob Pinto/Micah Karns. Team Sync: Kahan Brothers beat Team JPM Team Demos: Team 100% beat Creative Martial Arts Lt. Super Fight: D’Andre Walker over Anthony Merricks Hvy. Super Fight: Travis Plowden beat Greg Betlach Women’s Fighting: Chelsey Nash beat Melanie Ortiz Men’s Point Fighting: Greg Betlach beat Alex Lane 17 under Trad Weapons: Audrie Donihoo over Jackson Rudolph, Sammy Smith and Cole Eckert 17 under CMX Weapons: Ricky Morris defeated Mackensi Emory, Cole Eckert and Macayla Johnson 17 under Trad Forms: Dayna Huor beat out Kyle Montagna, Amanda Chen and Andrew Franklin 17 under CMX Forms: Mackensi Emory won over Dayna Huor, Micah Karns and Jacob Pinto Women’s Weapons Overall: Jennifer Espina beat Caitlin Dechelle and Giselle Segura Women’s Forms Overall: Caitlin Dechelle won over Giselle Segura and Jennifer Espina Men’s Weapons Overall: Eric Tremblay outlasted Marc Canonizado and Kalman Csoka Men’s Forms: William Cornell defeated Marc Canonizado & Eric Tremblay.
