Description
The Bluegrass is one of the largest of the NASKA world events and this year was fantastic! This years tape includes the Friday night events with all of the wildest tricks you have ever seen. The forms and weapons competition at this years Bluegrass Nationals finals were amazing and full of surprises. William Schmetzer’s bo routine won him his first overall grand championship. Brendan Huor, who actually spent a year in China training, was the overall winner in the 14-17 youth weapons division. In 13 and under forms, it was A.J. Ford who just barely edged out Becca Ross in a tie breaker. Craig Henningsen was on stage representing the 14-17 boys traditional forms and won this division. Regina Thompson defeated Casey Marks for the overall women’s sparring title. John Su’s clean performance with the whip chain was a favorite with the judges as he took the title. Casey Marks brought another forms title home in the women’s forms. It was Kim Do taking the Grand Championship with a form that earned him a standing ovation. Raymond Daniels controlled the ring and won 5-0 over Joey Greenhalgh. This is always one of the best tournaments around so enjoy sport martial arts at it’s best. There are highlights from both Friday nights jam packed events and Saturday Eliminations, who knows we may have caught your performance on camera.
