Black & Blue Productions has been in the video production business since 1993. Walter “Wally” Faulkner is the President and sole owner of Black and Blue Productions, Inc. As an Award-winning Producer\Director with over 38 years of production experience with local Jacksonville, statewide, and national sports & information productions. Wally has been a Technical Director of Florida State, Florida, and regional Football, Baseball, Basketball, and other sporting events. Walter worked with the original Television crew that created the Sunshine State Cable Network, which later evolved into the Sunshine Network. We have produced and edited talk shows, commercials, infomercials, instructional videos, large multi-camera events, corporate events, music videos, and everything in between. We also co-produced a very popular local show called “Karate Arts” with Lee Barden as both co-producer and host, which eventually was aired on the Sunshine Network.
Lee Barden was a founding member and Senior Vice President of Black and Blue Video and a seventh degree Blackbelt with over 37 years in the Martial Arts, Chief Instructor of Karate Arts. He passed away on March 2, 2017, from cancer. He leaves a legacy that spans the world as a martial artist.

Walter Faulkner
Walter Faulkner is an award-winning Producer/Director/Editor with over 35 years of production experience with local, statewide, and national sports & information productions. Walter Faulkner has been a Technical Director for Football, Baseball, Basketball, and other sporting events. He worked with the original Television crew that created the Sunshine State Cable Network, which later evolved into the Sun Network. He has produced, directed, and edited talk shows, commercials, infomercials, instructional videos, large multi-camera events, corporate events, music videos, and everything in between. He co-produced a very popular local show called "Karate Arts," which was picked up and aired on the Sun Network. He is co-owner of Black and Blue Productions, Inc. since 1993 with business partner Lee Barden. He is also the production coordinator for the Ultimate Warrior Challenge MMA organization.
Lee Barden
Was Senior Vice President, Black and Blue Productions, Inc and Chief Instructor at Karate Arts Academy of Self Defense
Lee Barden was diagnosed on the first of February 2017 with liver cancer, and he passed away on March 2, 2017. Lee was a 7th-degree black belt and chief instructor for Karate Arts. He has been training since 1973. In 1983, he opened his professional Karate School with an emphasis on adult training. In 1992, children became his primary focus. That's when he started the first after-school karate program in daycares all over Jacksonville. Realizing the positive impact martial arts has on children, Master Barden continued to expand our children's programs to include character and life-building skills that all children need to be a success. Master Barden was the team leader for the Neon Ninjas. He also taught weapons seminars and private lessons to many instructors and dojos across the country. He co-produced and was the host of a very popular local show called "Karate Arts," which was picked up and aired on the Sun Network. He was co-owner of Black and Blue Productions, Inc., since 1993, and he is what helps make this company a recognized authority in all things dealing with the Martial Arts. Lee has also produced a series of instructional DVDs that continue to revolutionize the way the nunchaku is viewed and performed.
Connie Barden
Was Vice President, Black and Blue Productions, Inc and Senior Instructor at Karate Arts Academy of Self Defense
Connie is a 4th-degree black belt and has been training since 1988. Sensei Connie is the After-School Karate Director and Program Director for the dojo. She is also our Cardio Kickboxing instructor and was the first to introduce the program to our area years ago. She is a member of the Neon Ninjas Demonstration Team. Sensei Lee and Sensei Connie have been married for 20 years and have two children. In her spare time, Connie is a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant.
